Family photoshoots in Dubai

Sometimes, a video is worth a thousand words. So instead of telling you what you should expect from a family photoshoot with me, I'll show you below!

Question

Do we get a few looking-into-the-camera shots as well?

01

Yes, I can definitely give that a shot! I mostly shoot the in-between moments where you are all having fun but in your booking form just write down that you would like a few photos where everyone is looking into the camera and I'll try my best to get those shots for you. It goes without saying that you can't force little kids to look into the camera and sometimes it just won't be possible to have everyone looking at me at the same time.

Question

Do you edit the temporary pimples, bumps, discoloration on our bodies?

02

I do edit those out. What I don't edit out are birthmarks, freckles, beauty marks etc. Basically anything that is permanent stays and anything temporary like a mark on the knees from a fall or pimples on the face after a chocolate binge go. If there is anything you want edited out or not edited out, please let me know when you are selecting the photos.

If your intention is to preserve the home your kids are growing up in right now in the form of photographs, go for an in-home photoshoot.

On the other hand, if you would like to preserve a sense of the city they are growing up in, go for an outdoor session. You can opt for a walk in the old Dubai next to Al Seef, or maybe a casual stroll on the beach or even a climb on top of the desert dunes! If you have a location in mind, let me know.

Answer:

Question:

No, I take a more natural and authentic approach to photographs so I want you to wear clothes that you are comfortable in and that look timeless. Props are quite trendy but with any trend they pass and so the photos start looking dated very quickly. I encourage that you don't bring any props but if you would like to include the kids' favorite toys or an heirloom blanket, feel free to bring those along!

Do you provide outfits or props?

Answer:

Question:

Most of my experiences take about one hour. A desert session might take up to one and a half hour because of the traveling between locations. In-home newborn sessions take about an hour to one and a half hour because I like to give mums time to feed or change nappies if required and I don't want to rush that at all!

How long will the photoshoot be?

Answer:

Question:

Yes, I love photographing big families! The only thing you should keep in mind is that my basic package includes 20 photographs which would not be enough for you keeping in mind there are multiple families. So you might want to buy additional images at the time of selection.

Can my extended family join in?
