Emergency plan for parents in the UAE (free printable included)

Hey there! How are you doing? I know everyone keeps saying don’t stress out but with social media full of coronavirus talks, it gets gloomy real fast when you start scrolling down your feeds. I was just reading one such post and realized something really important that I had not done till now!

Most of us don’t have our families living with us in the UAE, which means it’s REALLY important to have a plan in place in case of emergencies. Especially if you’ve got kids or are expecting one.

I recently got my infant, child and adult first aid training from Safe Hands UAE and one of the things they taught us was the importance of writing down all personal and medical information so that if you need to call an ambulance, all your information is handy.

So I made a template which includes emergency numbers, coronavirus helplines and spaces where you can add your medical and emergency contact information and more! I want you guys to download, print and hang it somewhere visible. Just in case. Because it’s always better to be prepared, especially in these testing times!

One important thing mentioned in this printable is Makani Number which is the number of the building or villa you live in. Every building in Dubai has one and this number helps emergency workers get to your location faster. It’s usually written on the front of every building but you can also find it here.
