I’m Scheherazade (call me Scherry!). I don't do stiff, posed, 'say cheese' kind of photography. I document real life in Surrey and London! You know how chaotic life with kids can get. I shoot through that chaos and the snuggles and the belly laughs, but I also capture the quiet moments in between.

I know you're busy, tired, maybe even overwhelmed…actually as a mum I know for sure you are 🤣. That's why I handle everything: I advise about clothing if you need help with that, I scout the location and get the permits, I manage the kids and their tantrums and actually get gold out for you through the craziness, and even print your heirloom album. Your only job? Show up, breathe, and be present with your kids for one hour. I'll take care of the rest.

15 days later I send you a selection gallery. Once you select the photos you love, I will hand edit them and email them to you within 2-3 weeks. Albums are delivered in 30 days.

You spend about 60 minutes playing, laughing and making core memories with your kids. No posing. No pressure. Just you being a mom, finally on the other side of the lens.

Pay a retainer to reserve your date and fill out a questionnaire so I can get to know your kids' personalities, and what connection looks like in your home.

No, I take a more natural and authentic approach to photographs so I want you to wear clothes that you are comfortable in and that look timeless. Props are quite trendy but with any trend they pass and so the photos start looking dated very quickly. I encourage that you don't bring any props but if you would like to include the kids' favorite toys or an heirloom blanket, feel free to bring those along!

Most of my experiences take about one hour. Some outdoor sessions might take up to one and a half hour because of the traveling between locations. In-home newborn sessions take about an hour to one and a half hour because I like to give mums time to feed or change nappies if required and I don't want to rush that at all!

How long will the photoshoot be?

Yes, I love photographing big families! The only thing you should keep in mind is that my basic package includes 20 photographs which would not be enough for you keeping in mind there are multiple families. So you might want to buy additional images at the time of selection.
